Moses Wilhelm, one of South Easton's oldest and most respected citizens, died at his home, 337 Canal Street, at 7:30 o'clock last evening, after a lingering illness of a complication of ailments, aged about 71 years. Mr. Wilhelm was a native of Mauch Chuck, but resided in South Easton almost all his life. He was a foreman at McKeen's cotton mill for about 25 years.

Mr. Wilhelm is survived by his wife, three sons. William, of Phillipsburg and Moses and Andrew Wilhelm, of South Easton, and four daughters, Mrs. Charles Aimes, New York city; Mrs. Benjamin Unangst and Miss Jennie, South Easton and Mrs. C. J. Smith, Easton. Two brothers, Emanuel Wilhelm of South Easton, and W. H. Wilhelm, Reading, and three sisters, Mrs. Hiram Hackman and Mrs. Susan Deily, South Easton, and Mrs. Alice Frankenfield, New York city, also survive.

The deceased was a member of the Delaware Street Methodist Episcopal Church, Easton Lodge, No. 52 F. and A.M., Columbia Lodge, No. 139, I.O.O.F, and Columbia Council, NO. 13, O.U.A.M.
