Mrs. James Gross
Catherine Anna, wife of James Gross, of near Treichlers, died Tuesday,
aged sixty years. The deceased was the daughter of the late Michael
and Catherine Gruber, nee Kieffer, and was born and reared in Northampton
county. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Robert of
Treichler's and Elvin, of Harper's. One grandchild also survives together
with the following brothers and sisters: Lawrence Gruver, Wadsworth,
Ohio; Theodore Gruber, Easton; Edwin Gruber, Seipstown; Mrs. Ed. Nickum,
Seipsville, and Mrs. John Hay, Hecktown.
