Mrs. Herbert Bachman
Mrs. Carrie M. Bachman, 84, of former resident of Raubsville,
died on Monday night at her home, 371 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn,
N.Y. after a long illness. She was the widow of Herbert Bachman,
who died in 1925.
Mrs. Bachman was born in Raubsville, a daughter of the late
John H. and Susanna Unangst Wilhelm. She made her home in the
community until she was married to Mr. Bachman. For the last
60 years she resided in Brooklyn.
Survivng are two daughters, Miss Marion Bachman, at home,
and Mrs. Edna Burton of Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Bachman was the
last surviving member of her parent's family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the
Shillinger funeral home, The Rev. Edwad P. Turnbach, Ph.D.,
pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment
will be in Raubsville cemetery. |
