William B Nixon, 86, 174 Chambers St. Phillipsburg, died at 2:50 a.m.
today at Betts Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on Aug 24.
Mr. Nixon had worked for about 15 years at the Wheeling Steel Co Steubenville,
Ohio His last place of employment was at Mack Printing Co. He retired
in1955 after working at Mack's for seven years.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Robert H and Martha
J Strunk Nixon. His wife the late Charlotte Wynkoop, died in 1950.
He had lived in Wellsboro, Ohio, while employed at the steel company.
He moved to Phillipsburg in 1945.
He was a member of St. Luk's Episcopal Church, Phillipsburg, and Montana
Lodge 23, Knight of Pythias, Phillipsburg.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Malvine Villano, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla,
a brother, Robert Nixon, Greenwood Lake, NY and a sister Mrs. George
Beam, Phillipsburg.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from St. Lukes Episcopal
Church, Phillipsburg. The funeral will be conducted by the Rupple Funeral
Home, Phillipsburg.
