Mrs. Harry Smock
Mrs. Carrie V Smock, 78, a native of Easton, died yesterday at the
home of her sister, Mrs. Pearl Nolf, of Webster, Mass. She was the
widow of Harry Smock.
Mrs. Smock was born in Easton on June 12, 1871, a daughter of the
late Joel and Emma Moser Hineline. She moved to Bethlehem after her
marriage and spent most of her life there. She was a member of the
Lutheran Church and the Dames of Malta of Bethlehem.
Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Nolf, are a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Pfister,
of Easton R. D. 4; two brothers, Joel Hineline of Detroit, Mich., and
Clement Hineline of Easton; two other sisters, Mrs. Flora Richards
of Easton R.D. 5 and Mrs. Wilson Heavener, of Easton; nine grandchildren
and 12 Great Grandchildren
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Shillinger
Funeral home, Easton. Interment will be in St. John's cemetery, Williams
Township.
