W.G. Griffith, 43, State Liquor Store Employee
Wilbert Grant Griffith, 43, an employee of the State Liquor Control Board, who worked as a clerk in the State liquor store, Easton, died yesterday afternoon at his home 153 Ferry Street, Easton.

Mr. Griffith had been in failing health for some time. Dr. Joseph Grant, Easton physician who had been treating Mr. Griffith, said death was caused by a heart attack.

Born May 12, 1906 in Cedarville, Northampton County. Mr, Griffith had spent nearly all his life in Easton. He had been associated with the liquor since 1940 Prior to that he was investigator for the State Emergency Relief Board in Easton.

He attended the Easton public schools and Easton High School, and was graduated from the Institute of Applied Science of Chicago, Ill. He at one time served in the National Guard. Mr. Griffith was a son of the late Ervin J. and Sarah Elizabeth Griffith.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Brethren Church and it's Sunday school, the Eagles and Moose Lodges, the Northampton Club Young Republican Club, Easton Athletic Club. Pioneer Athletic Association. Jacksonian Democratic Association, Franklin Engine Co,., McKinley Club, and the Order of Fleas, all of Easton and the Grover Clevealnd Democratic Association of Bethlehem.

His only survivor is his wife, Margaret Roberts Griffith.
