She was born in Easton a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Garis, and resided here her entire life. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Edward Ronemus, of Nesquehoning Carbon County, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
