George Garis
George Garis, 455 Berwick Street died very suddenly at his
home yesterday about 4 o'clock from acute indigestion, age
61 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by seven children:
John E. and George, of Easton; Mrs. J.A. Lum and Mrs. Charles
Riehl, Mrs. W.E. Rapp, Mrs. Walter F. Miller, of Easton, and
Mrs. William H. Sanderson, of Phillipsburg; two brothers, Henry
and Edward of Easton; two sisters Mrs. John Rice of Easton,
and Mrs. Edward Ronemus of Nesquehoning. Fourteen grandchildren
and one great grandchild also survive. Deceased was a member
of the St. Peter's Reformed church and was also a member of
the Fireman's relief.
